Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder hit the talk show circuit recently, brushing off worries about President Biden’s drooping poll numbers like a bug on his shoulder. Holder, ever the smooth talker, then played the race card, reminiscing about Obama’s charm offensive among black voters. He confidently predicted that Biden’s numbers will skyrocket, all thanks to the sycophantic mainstream media. According to Holder, once the media spins the narrative to make Biden the shining knight against the “elderly” Trump, all will be well in the liberal universe.
His grand finale? Holder declared that History will shine a golden light on the Biden era, making everyone forget the train wreck of the Trump administration. He confidently dismissed months of polls showing dissatisfaction with Biden’s policies, especially on the economy, as mere pesky flies buzzing around Biden’s head.
Holder couldn’t resist taking a jab at Trump either, predicting that Trump’s legal troubles will surely sink his political ship. He gleefully chatted about Trump’s potential impeachment and removal from office, painting a rosy picture of the future where Trump’s “cult base” evaporates like mist in the morning sun.
In Holder’s fantasyland, Trump is the big bad wolf, and Biden is the hero riding in on a unicorn to save the day. But for those of us with a touch of reality in our coffee, Holder’s rose-tinted glasses should come with a disclaimer: “Caution, may cause delusions of grandeur.”
