As a part of Hunter's legal team, Abbe Lowell will be working alongside Chris Clark, who was appointed by the US Attorney's Office in Delaware as the lead attorney for the president's son.
The announcement about Abbe Lowell's involvement with Hunter's legal team came as James Comer, the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said that he's planning on subpoenaing the Biden family next year.
According to Kentucky Congressman James Comer, evidence obtained by the committee Republicans revealed that Joe Biden lied to Americans about his family's financial activities. The investigation, which is scheduled to begin in January, will focus on his family's multiple business schemes.
"James Comer stated that the Biden family members were able to profit from their activities, which would have detrimental effects on the country's interests. If the president were compromised by his deals with foreign entities, it could threaten national security."
