In a recent appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY) didn’t hold back in expressing his thoughts on the charges brought against Hunter Biden. According to Comer, the tax evasion charge is just the “tip of the iceberg” when it comes to Hunter Biden’s legal troubles. He believes there are more serious offenses at play, including money laundering and potential violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Comer didn’t pull any punches, stating, “I mean, I’m not surprised. Look, this is one of many crimes that Hunter Biden has committed.” He went on to explain that in addition to evading taxes on his income, there are also concerns about the loans Hunter Biden and his brother Jim had, which amounted to over $13 million. Comer questions whether these loans should be considered income and believes there is a significant amount of tax liability that has not been addressed.
Furthermore, Comer pointed to suspicious activity reports that suggest money laundering by the Bidens. He stated, “Most of the 170 suspicious activity reports at Treasury implied that the Bidens were money laundering.” Comer claims that after reviewing their bank statements and conducting research, it appears to him that money laundering has taken place.
Additionally, Comer brought up the violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, highlighting Hunter Biden’s lobbying activities for China, Russia, and other countries. He argued that this not only implicates Hunter Biden but also makes Joe Biden liable under the act. Comer expressed his concerns, emphasizing that the charges brought against Hunter Biden are just the beginning and that there is much more to uncover.
