The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has struck again, folks! They arrested a convicted child rapist who was hiding out on Martha’s Vineyard. That’s right, you heard it here first – a dangerous criminal has been taken off the streets and is facing immediate deportation. Finally, some good news for law-abiding citizens!

Saulo Cardosa, a 37-year-old fugitive from Brazil, was apprehended on November 14 by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations office in Boston. This despicable individual had been wanted in Brazil for fleeing his 14-year prison sentence after being convicted in 2019 of raping a 5-year-old child. Can you believe this guy?
Now, the liberal media might try to downplay the importance of this arrest, but let’s not forget that this predatory criminal was roaming free in the United States. Who knows how many innocent children were at risk while this vile fugitive was on the loose? Thankfully, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations office in Boston stepped up and took action to protect our communities.
But wait, there’s more! According to a statement from the Boston office, this arrest is just the tip of the iceberg. In the fiscal year 2022 alone, ICE apprehended over 46,000 immigrants with nearly 200,000 charges against them. Let that sink in for a moment. That’s 46,000 dangerous individuals who were posing a threat to our safety and security. And yet, the radical left wants to defund ICE and open our borders even wider. It’s madness, folks!
The Boston ERO office also revealed that they have seen a “significant increase in the number of foreign fugitives coming to Massachusetts to escape charges in their home countries.” This is a disturbing trend that cannot be ignored. It’s clear that we need to strengthen our immigration enforcement and crack down on these criminals who think they can escape justice by coming to our country.
In addition to this heinous criminal, ERO arrested over 46,000 noncitizens with criminal histories in the fiscal year 2022. These individuals had a staggering 198,498 associated charges and convictions, including assault offenses, sex and sexual assault offenses, weapons offenses, and even homicide-related offenses. These are the types of criminals that ICE is tirelessly working to remove from our communities, and this latest arrest is a testament to their dedication and hard work.
So, let’s give a round of applause to ICE for taking down another dangerous criminal. It’s time to put an end to the liberal narrative that undermines their critical work and to recognize the vital role they play in keeping our country safe. Keep up the good work, ICE – we’ve got your back!
