Former President Donald Trump expressed his support for Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-IA) without reservation. Trump criticized Reynolds in a video published on Tuesday for endorsing one of his primary opponents in the 2024 presidential election. Trump asserts that Reynolds descended from the position of a popular governor to that of the most detested in the entirety of the United States of America. Ouch! Trump expressed his ire directly by referring to Ron DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" and making fun of his lagging standing in the surveys. At the very least, it appears that Trump is not pleased with the Iowa governor's selection.

Trump sneered annotatedly at Reynolds' support for DeSantis, implying that she might have been offered something in exchange. Trump lauded the record of his administration in safeguarding Social Security and Medicare, as well as assisting Iowa farmers with ethanol. Trump asserts that DeSantis and Nikki Haley took no action. It is abundantly obvious that Trump is not holding back when it comes to his primary opponents.
Polls indicate that Trump is in the lead, with DeSantis significantly trailing the former president. The average of a RealClearPolitics poll indicates that DeSantis is approximately 45 percentage points behind Trump. Even an Iowa State University/Civiqs survey of prospective Iowa Republican caucus attendees placed Trump in a significant lead over DeSantis. It appears that Trump is in a commanding lead, and he is not hesitant to declare it.
Reynolds endorsed DeSantis subsequent to a period of contention with Trump, during which she initially declared her intention to maintain a neutral stance in the primary. Reynolds and Trump had a contentious history due to her attendance at campaign events alongside DeSantis and his spouse, Casey DeSantis. Trump is unequivocally expressing his views on the matter, suggesting that he is not one to overlook a grievance.
DeSantis and Haley are engaged in a fierce primary contest for the position of leading alternative candidate to Trump. Nevertheless, it is apparent that Trump is tenaciously clinging to his position as the frontrunner. It is fair to say that he freely expresses his views and occasionally jabs his competitors. The presidential primary of 2024 is progressively developing into a fierce contest, and Trump is not hesitating to declare his presence.
