Vice President J.D. Vance publicly suggested there is cause to believe immigration fraud occurred and said aides were exploring legal remedies, a claim that has fueled outrage on the right and calls for a formal probe.
Make no mistake: Americans are entitled to the truth and to due process, but they are also entitled to answers from elected officials who show up to work for citizens, not to dodge uncomfortable questions.
