This week’s Liberal Media Scream could easily take home an award for the most absurd overreaction. The media is tripping over itself to misinterpret and demonize an already iconic moment: a bloodied but unbowed Donald Trump urging his supporters to “fight, fight, fight” to bring him back to the White House. That, apparently, was too much for the delicate sensibilities of our friends in the liberal press.
Clearly, the former president and his loyal supporters know the real message here: resilience, unity, and a no-nonsense approach to political adversity. But if you ask the media, especially CNN’s Jamie Gangel, it’s a shocking call to arms—a disturbing crusade for vengeance. It’s as if they’ve completely forgotten the context: Trump had just survived an assassination attempt by the skin of his teeth.

Jamie Gangel, sipping her coastal elite latte no doubt, took umbrage to Trump’s gritty resolve, suggesting this is not the time for heated rhetoric. Apparently, there’s never a right time to stand up for oneself if one resides on the right side of the political spectrum. Gangel seemed to imply that Trump should have responded to nearly getting martyred with a more docile message, perhaps something along the lines of “please don’t kill me again.”
Let’s get this straight. Within mere moments of taking a bullet, Trump’s indomitable spirit shattered the narrative that his enemies have painted for years. Yet, Gangel’s first instinct wasn’t to offer empathy or to condemn the violence, but to lash out at Trump’s inspiring call for resilience. CNN’s priorities leave much to be desired. Their worldview persists: Trump and his MAGA supporters are the true threats to democracy, not the maniac who tried to assassinate a former president.
Brent Baker from the Media Research Center put it perfectly—although we don’t need an ace researcher to tell us the obvious. It’s outright shameful that CNN’s Gangel was more offended by Trump’s defiant speech than by the fact that someone tried to kill him. But then again, that’s par for the course in the liberal media’s distorted, upside-down version of reality.
Rating: FIVE out of FIVE SCREAMS. The liberal media strikes again in their relentless quest to distort the truth and perpetuate their narrative.
