Republican Congresswoman from the 14th district of Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, set the record straight in a recent interview with CBS News, calling out Democrats for being the party of pedophiles. In a clip that has gone viral on Twitter, host Leslie Stahl confronts Greene about her previous statements regarding Democrats being groomers and pedophiles.

However, Greene did not back down and stood firmly behind her statement. When asked to elaborate, Greene explained that the Democrats support the sexualization of children, including transgender surgeries. She went on to say that this is what pedophiles do to children, and the support from the Democratic party only enables them.

Stahl was left speechless by Greene’s fierce response, but then attempted to ask if Greene would consider toning down her rhetoric for the betterment of the party. However, Greene had a witty response of her own, firing back and asking the same question of the other side. Instead of calling anyone names or being antisemitic, Greene is calling out the truth.
Despite the contentious nature of the interview, Greene praised Stahl and the CBS News team on Twitter. “It was an honor to spend a few days with the legendary icon Leslie Stahl and talented crew @60Minutes,” she wrote. “Leslie is a trailblazer for women in journalism. And while we may disagree on some issues, I respect her greatly.”
Greene’s strong stance against the sexualization of children is something all Americans can get behind. The Democratic party should reassess their values and stop their support for these harmful actions.
