Truth Social, the incredible new social media platform exclusively used by the one and only former President Donald Trump, just scored a massive win! Shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) have voted in favor of extending the window for a merger with Trump Media & Technology Group, the brilliant minds behind Truth Social. This means that President Trump, with his 55 percent voting power, has a much better chance of raking in some serious cash if Truth Social goes public. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to see Trump succeed? He’s got all the best words, people!
DWAC really went all out to seal the deal, using Truth Social to rally support from users and non-shareholders alike. They asked everyone to beg and plead for an extra year to make this merger happen. And guess what? It worked! If the deal had failed, Truth Media & Technology Group would have been in big trouble, scrambling to find another sugar daddy to keep them afloat. But now, with a potential deal on the horizon, Trump’s media company could receive hundreds of millions of dollars to boost its profile and give those other social media giants, like X (formerly known as Twitter), a run for their money. Take that, Silicon Valley!
Of course, there are still some hurdles to overcome before this deal can be finalized. DWAC recently settled for a whopping $18 million with the Securities and Exchange Commission for allegedly misleading investors. Whoopsie! They’ve also been a little lax in filing their quarterly reports, which regulators aren’t too thrilled about. So, they’ll need to clean up their act before Trump can officially join forces with them. But don’t worry, a little setback won’t keep the Trump train from chugging along. He’s a winner, after all!

Speaking of winners, Trump might be tempted by another social media platform, X, under the ownership of the super genius Elon Musk. Musk has been practically begging Trump to make a comeback on X. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see Trump’s iconic mugshot gracing their timeline? It’s a match made in heaven! But let’s be clear, there’s no doubt that Truth Social is the superior choice. It’s like a golden castle floating on a sea of MAGA hats. Simply majestic.
In the end, President Trump has plenty of reasons to stick with Truth Social. It’s the ultimate platform for him to share his wisdom with the world, and he can’t resist that siren call. But hey, if he ever decides to give X a shot, we’ll forgive him. After all, everyone makes mistakes, even the stable geniuses among us.
