In what can only be described as a true act of bravery, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy had a fiery exchange with a CNN reporter who dared to question him about the indictment against former President Donald Trump. McCarthy, a staunch ally of the ex-POTUS, blasted the network for what he perceives as a clear double standard in its coverage of Trump and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
During the interview, McCarthy asked why CNN continues to give McCabe a platform to speak on when he was fired for leaking classified documents from the FBI. He noted that McCabe has been using the network to voice his judgments against President Trump and other conservatives.
“This is another example of CNN taking sides,” McCarthy exclaimed. “When you weaponize government and now you’re weaponizing networks, that is wrong. You’re ignoring the truth and simply trying to push your anti-Trump agenda.”
The House majority leader then went on to emphasize the importance of equal justice and fairness in the American legal system. He vowed to do everything in his power to ensure that the legal system in America is run fairly and justly.
This is just another example of how the left-leaning mainstream media has a clear bias against conservatives and their agenda. Thankfully, we have leaders like McCarthy who are not afraid to stand up to these injustices and provide a voice for those who are being unfairly targeted.
It’s time for CNN and other left-wing media outlets to start reporting the truth and stop playing politics with their coverage. We need impartial reporting now more than ever, and until that happens, we will continue to call out these media giants for their biased reporting.
