For this week’s Conservative News Roar, we dive into the latest case of the mainstream media’s blatant bias against former President Donald Trump. ABC’s Jonathan Karl took center stage, proudly confessing that he penned his recent book to sound the alarm about Trump. That’s right, folks. The legacy media has gone from pretending to be neutral fact-checkers to full-blown adversaries.

During an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Karl fessed up that his motivation for writing Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party was to warn America about the dangers of a potential Trump resurgence. He suggested that some folks are yearning for the “good old days” of the Trump presidency, blissfully unaware of the potential chaos and disaster that could ensue if Trump were to reclaim the White House.
Karl’s not-so-subtle insinuation that a second Trump administration would be some kind of apocalyptic nightmare is just downright ludicrous. It’s like he’s trying to scare people into voting against Trump before they even have a chance to consider his policies and accomplishments.
Brent Baker, the brains over at the Media Research Center, hit the nail on the head when he called out Karl’s shameless political advocacy. A journalist’s role is to report the news objectively, not to meddle in the political arena and manipulate public opinion. It’s no wonder that Trump supporters and Republicans have a hard time trusting the guy when it’s crystal clear that he’s got a personal vendetta against their favorite leader.
