While the liberal media whines about America’s so-called “global overreach,” there’s some real multitasking going on that ought to make patriots proud. While Washington faces down Iranian aggression halfway across the world, our military is still getting results on the home front. U.S. forces have been hunting down drug smugglers off our coast—and winning.
That means, while America’s enemies in Iran are out there thumbing their noses at us, our Pentagon isn’t twiddling its thumbs. It’s not letting its guard down, even for a second. Drug cartels think they can sneak their poison into our country just because the headlines are focused on the Middle East. They’re flat-out wrong. Our men and women in uniform are taking these criminals down, sending a message that American borders are not just lines on a map.

But don’t tell that to the open-border crowd in D.C. The left makes excuses for letting drugs pour through our southern border, always blaming “systemic problems” or “lack of resources.” Meanwhile, our military proves we do have what it takes to shut down these operations—if only spineless politicians would let them do their jobs everywhere, not just offshore.
Liberals and their globalist pals want America distracted abroad while our families suffer at home. The Pentagon’s ability to take care of business both here and there proves we could do so much more if only we put America First as we should. Instead, we’re stuck with limp-wristed leadership and endless lectures about “compassion” for criminals bringing deadly drugs into neighborhoods across the heartland.
If the brass can knock out drug runners while Iran stirs up the Middle East, why can’t our own leaders stop making excuses at the border? When will the left stop coddling criminals and start backing the red, white, and blue? Here’s a thought: maybe it’s time to put tough Americans—like the ones protecting our coasts—back in charge, before we lose the fight both abroad AND at home.
