Poll Shows Democrats in Denial Over Biden’s Border Policies as GOP Gains Ground

In a startling display of denial, a recent Harvard-Harris poll indicates that a staggering 75 percent of Democrats refuse to acknowledge the obvious: Joe Biden’s open-border disaster is not mere mismanagement but a calculated invitation for illegal immigrants to flood into the United States. While Democrats are still reeling from the shock of losing the last election, the American electorate seems to be watching with bemusement as the party flounders in an abyss of disconnectedness and confusion.

The poll, conducted just a few days ago among 2,443 registered voters, revealed that the overwhelming majority of Democrats genuinely believe that the Biden administration’s border policies were unintentional. Meanwhile, a vast 80 percent of Republicans see these policies as a deliberate strategy to boost the Democratic voter base through illegal immigration. This stark contrast highlights a fundamental divide between the parties, with Democrats in denial about the repercussions of their policies while Republicans are calling it as they see it.

Examining the actions taken by the Biden administration, it becomes evident that there is more than enough evidence to conclude that these policies were anything but accidental. Initiatives such as the “Parole” program and the “Welcome Corps” seem designed to send a very clear message to illegal migrants: the doors are wide open. With billions of taxpayer dollars at stake, the administration appears more focused on appeasing non-citizens than addressing the needs of American citizens, which raises eyebrows and solidifies Republican suspicions about a calculated approach to reshaping the electorate.

The Democrat strategy, as some speculate, might not only be about mismanagement but a longer-term plan to secure permanent power. With traditional Democrat strongholds such as African American and Hispanic communities increasingly questioning their allegiance under Biden’s presidency, the theory posits that the influx of illegal immigrants could serve as a new demographic to prop up fading support. It’s a bold gamble that may backfire spectacularly, as more Americans wake up to the reality of what is happening at the southern border.

The disconnect continues in the poll results, with 81 percent of voters supporting mass deportations of illegal immigrants, particularly those who have committed crimes. Additionally, 76 percent are in favor of enhanced border security measures to deter illegal crossings. Surprisingly, even contentious concepts like birthright citizenship show a shift in public sentiment, with nearly half agreeing that the children of illegal immigrants should not automatically receive citizenship. This level of public opinion stands in stark contrast to the narrow interests that Democrats seem fixated on—issues like climate change and gender identity politics that do little to resonate with the average American.

As they falter in touch with both their base and the wider populace, Democrats seem determined to continue their current course of action, with little regard for what actually matters to voters. Neglecting to engage with the concerns of their constituents, they persist in their fixation on opposition to former President Trump while overlooking the genuine issues plaguing American families. Unless they recalibrate their approach, the future looks bleak for them in upcoming elections.

Republicans, on the other hand, can craft a platform capitalizing on this disconnect and the growing desire among Americans for common-sense policies that prioritize safety and national integrity. As the saying goes, the only thing better than winning an argument is watching the other side make a fool of themselves. In this case, the Democrats are giving their opponents plenty of material to work with, setting the stage for what could be a political renaissance for conservatives.
