Once again, the Left shows just how little respect they have for the brave men and women protecting America’s borders. This week, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer shamelessly smeared ICE and Border Patrol agents while ranting against a Republican-backed funding plan. These men and women put their lives on the line every single day to keep drugs, human traffickers, and criminals out of our country. How does the leader of the Senate—one of the most powerful people in America—choose to reward them? By throwing them under the bus and trashing their service.
President Trump didn’t let that slide. He’s demanding that Schumer apologize, and frankly, he’s absolutely right. Schumer talks a big game about “democracy” and “law and order,” but when it comes to supporting real American heroes—he’s MIA. It’s classic liberal hypocrisy. They’re more interested in pandering to open borders, foreign interests, and far-left activists than standing up for the safety of U.S. citizens.\

The Democrats love to talk about compassion, but where’s their compassion for families destroyed by fentanyl pouring across the border? Where’s the outrage for ranchers who find their land ripped apart by cartel activity? Schumer and his buddies don’t want to fund Border Patrol—because deep down, they don’t really want a border. Only in the twisted world of Washington Democrats could enforcing the law be seen as the problem, not the floods of crime and chaos pouring across under their watch.
This attack on the people who actually defend our borders isn’t just disgraceful—it’s dangerous. When leaders like Schumer undermine ICE and Border Patrol, it sends a message to smugglers and criminals worldwide: America’s top brass won’t back up their own. Is it any wonder that the border is a disaster when this is what our so-called leaders are saying?
At the end of the day, Americans have a choice. Are we going to stand with reckless politicians who bash our own border agents for political points, or with those serious about keeping America safe? Trump knows which side he’s on. Maybe it’s time Democrats like Schumer answer for whose side they’re really on—because right now, it sure isn’t the American people.
