The liberal senator looked like he’d been caught stealing cookies. Chris Van Hollen turned bright red as Trump’s tough Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem destroyed his phony story about so-called “wrongful deportation.” Americans saw the truth – this elite Democrat got played trying to defend an illegal immigrant.
Van Hollen’s “Margaritagate” disaster went viral last month. He flew to El Salvador for a tearful photo-op with deported MS-13-linked criminal Kilmar Abrego Garcia. But Bukele’s government exposed the stunt – catching Van Hollen sipping margaritas while pretending to care about border security.
Now Noem hammered him harder. “Your open borders circus puts Americans in danger,” she said as Van Hollen squirmed. The secretary held up proof that Abrego Garcia had gang tattoos and failed every background check. “You’d rather cry over salt-rimmed glasses than protect our families!”

Noem ended the hearing with a warning. “President Trump’s policies saved your district from violent crime,” she said. “Keep attacking ICE agents, and your voters will send you packing.” Van Hollen slammed his desk, proving he cares more about headlines than homeland safety.
