Sheriff Jeff Gahler of Harford County ripped the band-aid off the festering wound of Joe Biden’s border policies. This came in the wake of a tragic and infuriating incident involving Rachel Morin, a woman and mother, who met a horrifying end at the hands of an illegal immigrant from El Salvador in Maryland. And guess whose open-border policies made this possible? Spoiler: His last name rhymes with “hiding.”
Gahler didn’t mince words in his critique of the administration, essentially pointing out the glaring incompetence that floods our borders with unchecked illegal immigrants. As if expecting the American people to swallow the “compassionate” angle of these policies, Biden’s administration conveniently ignores the real people who pay the price. In this case, it was an innocent woman whose life was tragically cut short.

What’s truly astounding is the blatant refusal of left-leaning policymakers to connect the dots. When illegal immigrants, who should have never been in the country in the first place, commit horrific crimes, it’s clear: Biden’s border laissez-faire has blood on its hands. But, of course, in the world of rainbows and unicorns where Democrats reside, everything is fine and dandy as long as they can virtue-signal their way through the chaos they create.
With this horrific incident, Gahler highlighted the stark reality that many Americans face daily. Americans are less safe today because of the administration’s reckless handling of the border. It’s not just about numbers or vague humanitarian ideals; it’s about Rachel Morin and countless others who bear the brunt of liberal fantasies.
Until there’s a shift back to sanity and secure borders, one can only expect more tragic headlines. Joe Biden’s border policies seem less about compassion and more about catastrophe. Apparently, in the liberal playbook, American lives are secondary to maintaining that precious, ever-elusive “open and welcoming” persona.
