SHOCKING: Illinois Mayor Has SHOOTOUT In Chicago

It's dangerous out there—keep your head up! Even the daytime is risky. When did criminals operate in the dark? Where did all the cat burglars go? Fools are jacking people in the middle of the day on the sidewalk!

This kind of illegal foolishness isn't just in seedy neighborhoods. Who wants to rob a poor individual in a poor section of town when you can rob high-end consumers at 2 in the afternoon?

This is a problem in liberal, democrat-run cities. There's no fear of repercussions. Crooks are so arrogant that they steal throughout the day. Chicago is one. Even Michigan Avenue and the shopping district are unsafe. Recently, another Illinois mayor visited Chicago with his security team. Let's just say they weren't playing. ABC7 Chicago:

Police verified the Harvey mayor's security detail fired rounds at Lincoln Park on Wednesday.

Harvey Mayor Christopher Clark's private security detail was close when they noticed two masked guys with pistols pointing at an 86-year-old man on the pavement.

Folks, I have family in Chicago and have visited Lincoln Park/Halsted several times. This isn't a place to fear for your safety midday. Where is Chicago? And why is an 86-year-old guy haughty? Did thieves steal his mobility scooter?

They learned that you DON'T point a gun at the mayor of Harvey, Illinois.

The mayor's security team fired shots, hitting the car's back window as the suspects drove off.

One of the armed individuals turned toward the security detail with his revolver pointing, leading the officer to fire.

The alleged robbers did not fire back at the security guard, authorities said. The guard is not a member of the Harvey Police Department, police said.

Call it irresponsible or street justice. The mayor's private security detail spotted a crime and intervened. These weren't cops, but likely former soldiers employed by the mayor's office, so they jumped in. The police are so exceedingly cautious, and rightly so since 2020, that thieves think they can get away with anything, and in certain locations they can.

Witnesses saw a black Jeep with a damaged back window flee northbound on Halsted, missing two automobiles at West Willow.
