It’s not surprising that Cohen was caught sharing untrue stories about Trump. This is the same lawyer who confessed to lying to Congress on behalf of the Democrats. It’s not a stretch to imagine he’d continue spreading lies to make himself look good and damage the former president’s reputation. Trump has had enough of Cohen’s lies and is seeking justice through a legal process.
According to Fox News, Trump’s legal team filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Wednesday. They’re accusing Cohen of multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, and more. The lawsuit explains that Cohen’s continuous and escalating improper conduct toward Trump has left him with no alternative but to seek legal redress through this action.
The lawsuit adds that Cohen disseminated lies about Trump with malicious intent, a proverbial crescendo that Trump cannot tolerate any longer. It’s not just about the money – this is about holding Cohen accountable for his actions against Trump. Trump is a man of his word, and when someone violates his trust, he fights back.
