In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, where many Americans were left struggling, FEMA officials have raised eyebrows for their complete absence on the ground. Instead of focusing on the needs of American citizens, the Biden administration decided to throw more taxpayer dollars at foreign countries, including a staggering $237 million to help prepare Ukraine for winter. Meanwhile, illegal aliens appear to be prioritized over struggling citizens, as FEMA has reportedly funneled over $1 billion to support them over the past two years.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas boldly tried to calm the waters, claiming that FEMA was “tremendously prepared” just months ago—yet now it’s crying broke as another hurricane looms. Words like “immediate needs” and “insufficient funds” seem to fall flat when juxtaposed with the continued funding pouring into foreign nations that seem to take precedence over American lives. After all, whose girlfriends do Joe and Kamala really care about more—Americans in danger or foreign criminals trying to cross the border?
The disaster was compounded by hundreds of lives lost and many more at risk of desperation. In contrast to the one-time $750 payments citizens “may” receive in their time of need, billions continue to flow to foreign entities, including those associated with Hamas. This obvious neglect and misplacement of priorities shows a government hell-bent on ruining America’s future while Trump stands ready to restore it.
Trump, ever the champion for those in distress, has already raised over $6.6 million for hurricane victims. He took a moment at his Butler rally to spotlight the struggles of ordinary Americans and express his desire to listen to them. Even while facing monumental odds—such as recovering from an assassination attempt earlier in July—Trump uses that fire to drive home the importance of American resilience both at the rally and in the face of disaster.
There can be no denying the stark differences in leadership styles between Trump and the current administration. While Trump leads with his heart and helps those who need it most, Biden and Harris seem more inclined to pursue their pet projects overseas, leaving Americans to fend for themselves. This moment of desperation exemplifies why people must vote for leaders who prioritize national interests.
