Former President Donald Trump recently appeared on Mediabuzz Sunday where he stood by his strong language on immigration, stating that it prompts people to think about important issues. When questioned about his use of controversial terms, Trump defended his choice of words, even when he used the phrase “poisoning the blood,” which some have criticized as being similar to a quote from Adolf Hitler. Trump claimed he was unaware of this connection and argued that the country is being negatively affected by immigration.

Trump suggested that his use of controversial language leads to increased media coverage, which ultimately encourages public debate. Trump expressed concerns about the large number of individuals entering the country, referencing cases of criminal behavior and labeling it as “migrant crime.”
In contrast, President Joe Biden has rolled back many of Trump’s border policies through a series of executive orders, including Title 42, which restricted immigration during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since Biden assumed office, the number of attempted immigrant entries has soared, with over 10 million reportedly entering the country illegally. This marks the highest number of illegal entries during the initial period of any administration.
In Trump’s view, the surge in illegal immigration is a matter of great concern, and he believes that his blunt rhetoric is necessary to prompt action. He continues to stand by his stance on immigration and urges the public to acknowledge the severity of the situation.
