At the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains on Tuesday, President Trump told world leaders he expects more Arab countries to join the Abraham Accords — a bold forecast that should make patriotic Americans proud of a foreign policy that delivers results instead of retreats. The president made clear he sees the Accords as a cornerstone for lasting Middle East stability and said additional signatories are coming soon.
Remember what the Abraham Accords are: real, pragmatic diplomacy achieved in 2020 that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states and that has since inched outward. Mr. Trump has been pressing nations like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and others to sign on as part of a wider strategy to isolate bad actors and reward those who choose peace over chaos.
This push is not happening in a vacuum — the president has tied expansion of the Accords to any deal that pauses or ends Iran’s aggression, making alignment with American and Israeli security interests a precondition for regional normalization. That linkage is smart statecraft: it uses leverage to produce concrete concessions rather than surrendering to endless negotiations that deliver nothing.
Predictably, establishment media and left-wing critics are already sniffing for flaws and demanding details, but conservatives know a good deal when we see one and we know the alternative — weakness and more war. The truth is simple: negotiating from strength produces partners and peace, while unilateral retreats only encourage our enemies; Trump’s results-first diplomacy should be applauded, not smeared.
Hardworking Americans should demand that Washington keep pushing this momentum — hold friendly regimes to their commitments, keep Israel secure, and make sure any regional settlement keeps America’s interests and allies first. If more Arab states truly sign on, it will be proof that bold leadership and firm principles still win in international affairs — and that’s a legacy conservatives should proudly defend.
