The Bias is Strong in This One: Why Democrats are Coming After Kennedy on Israel
In a shocking turn of events, leaders of the Jewish community are falsely accusing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of being an anti-Semite. Can you believe it? This is the same man who has shown unwavering support for Israel and has been a lifelong friend of the Jewish community. But apparently, that doesn’t matter to the Democrats who are more interested in tearing down their own party members than standing up for what they claim to believe in.
Kennedy has been a vocal opponent of the Iran nuclear deal, a position that puts him at odds with both President Obama and President Biden. He understands the dangers of a nuclear Iran and the threat it poses to Israel. But instead of applauding him for his stance, the Democrats are trying to smear his name and discredit him. It’s truly despicable.
And let’s not forget about Congressman Josh Gottheimer, who has decided to take it upon himself to be the arbiter of anti-Semitism. He has called Kennedy a “disgrace to the Kennedy name” as if he has any authority to make such a judgment. It’s ironic coming from a man who defended Rep. Ilhan Omar, a true anti-Semite, when she was voted off the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Gottheimer seems to only care about fighting anti-Semites when they’re running against Biden.
But Gottheimer isn’t the only Democrat coming after Kennedy. Congresswoman Debbie Wassermann Schultz has also joined the crusade. She went so far as to try to silence and discredit Kennedy during his testimony at a U.S. House hearing on censorship. It’s clear that these Democrats are more interested in playing politics and appeasing President Biden than standing up for the Jewish community.

Speaking of Biden, let’s not forget his mistreatment of Israel. He has repeatedly snubbed Israel’s democratically-elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and even went so far as to dress down Israel on CNN. Yet, he has no problem cozying up to tyrants and white supremacists. It’s clear where his priorities lie, and it’s not with the Jewish people or Israel.
In the end, it’s clear that Kennedy is being attacked by Democrats because he threatens their weak support for Jews and Israel. They would rather tear down one of their own than admit that they are failing in their duty to support one of America’s strongest allies. It’s a sad state of affairs, but it’s the reality of the Democratic Party today.
