According to Townhall, former Vice President Joe Biden kept top-secret documents in his office after the Obama administration left office in 2017. This incident is a shocking example of hypocrisy since he has been criticizing Donald Trump for keeping classified information at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
After the report about the incident, several journalists asked Biden about it during his meetings in Mexico. He did not react to their questions.

According to the report, Biden and the Department of Justice were aware that the former vice president had been keeping top-secret documents in his office before the November 2018 midterm elections. However, the details about his alleged crimes were kept from the public until after the election.
The White House has not yet responded to the report. It's not surprising that Biden would not talk about the incident. He also knows that he can rely on the Democrats and the mainstream media to help him clean up his image following this damaging incident.
Even though the news about the incident has not yet been released, Republican members of Congress have been demanding answers from the White House. They have been turning the tables on Democrats by attacking Biden directly.
James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, said on Monday that he was not sure if the FBI would raid the White House or the Biden facility. He was referring to the reaction of the Department of Justice after Trump was accused of keeping classified information at his Mar.-a-Lago resort.
He also criticized the way the Department of Justice handled the situation, saying that it has a two-tier system when it comes to treating both the president and the former president. He said that he would like to hold a hearing to discuss the incident and was working on a letter with the National Archives to get more information.
Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, who is a Republican, also said that there should be uniform standards and rules when it comes to handling cases.

Rick Scott, a Republican from Florida, said on Monday that the public should wait for the outrage from both the media and the Democrats. He added that the revelations about Biden show that he is a hypocrite.
According to Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Joe Biden did not have the same declassification authority as President Donald Trump when it came to keeping classified information. She noted that it would be harder for Democrats to go after the former president now that it has been known that Biden did the same thing with his private office.

Senator Amy Kloof of Minnesota also raised concerns about the incident, saying that the Department of Justice should have looked into what Biden took when he left the White House. She also wondered why other people were able to access the classified information that he had.

It is not clear what will happen to the investigation of Biden's situation when it comes to the handling of classified information. However, it is clear that the incident will make it harder for Democrats to use the documents that Trump kept at his Mar-A-Lago resort as a political tool.
