$5M Pledge: Charlie Kirk’s Game-Changer Move for GOP in Wisconsin Battle

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, is pledging $5 million to back conservative activist Scott Presler’s ballot-chasing campaign in the key battleground state of Wisconsin. Presler’s Early Vote Action organization has been working with Turning Point Action on data, technology, and ballot chase theory in preparation for the 2024 election cycle. Presler recognized that the Republican National Committee and other conservative organizations have not stepped up to the plate, and that “If we don’t win Wisconsin, we don’t win at all. It’s that simple.”

Turning Point Action’s financial commitment is being hailed as a “game-changer” by Presler, who has indicated that the funds will be used to hire and equip campaign staff. Kirk has loudly stressed the importance of well-organized and transparent Republican outreach operations in 2024. The party is finally recognizing the importance of increased early and mail-in voting efforts, an idea encouraged by former President Donald Trump and endorsed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Although unpopular among GOP voters, these efforts are seen as crucial to any chance of success in future elections. Kirk has made it clear that he wants to win and is sick of losing the Republic. Ballot harvesting is no longer controversial and will become an essential part of the Republican playbook moving forward. The Republican Party knows it must take decisive action to avoid the same bitter defeats they have faced in recent years.
