The Biden administration has confirmed that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) are using hospitals in the Gaza Strip to support their terror operations. John Kirby from the National Security Council revealed this information while on Air Force One with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. According to Kirby, Hamas and PIJ members are operating a command center from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where they have stored weapons and are prepared to respond to any Israeli military action. This revelation is backed by intelligence obtained by the United States through various sources and methods.

The fact that terrorists are using hospitals as bases for their operations is not only alarming, but also a blatant war crime. The confirmation of Hamas and PIJ’s use of hospitals comes after the IDF discovered a terror tunnel leading from a terrorist leader’s house to the basement of Rantisi Hospital. Inside the hospital, signs of hostages, weapons, and ammunition were found. This discovery serves as a stark reminder of the danger that Hamas and PIJ pose to innocent lives, both within Gaza and across the region.
It is crucial that the international community condemns these terrorist organizations and holds them accountable for their actions.
