In a shocking and devastating turn of events, Hamas launched a vicious attack on Israel, resulting in the deadliest day in the history of the country since the end of the Holocaust. This tragic incident left many Jewish lives lost and families devastated. And while Israel was being attacked, what was the Biden administration doing? Well, they were busy releasing $6 billion to Iran as part of a prisoner exchange, announced on the solemn anniversary of September 11th. Talk about priorities!
Senator Ted Cruz, a true champion for justice and truth, did not hold back in his criticism of the administration. He pointed out that this attack on Israel was funded by none other than Iran, and that Hamas and Hezbollah are Iranian proxies carrying out their evil deeds. The Wall Street Journal even confirmed this shocking information. It’s clear that under the Biden administration, Iran has been empowered to carry out acts of terror against innocent Israelis.
But it doesn’t stop at the $6 billion payment. Senator Cruz revealed that the Biden administration has allowed a whopping $50 billion to flow into Iran over the last two and a half years. This includes $10 billion from Iraq and the lifting of American oil sanctions, which were the most effective tool in crippling Iran’s economy under the previous administration. It’s as if the Biden administration is intentionally funding and empowering Iran’s genocidal regime.
And it gets worse. The Biden administration knowingly flooded money into the Gaza Strip, even though they were fully aware that it would fund Hamas terrorism. They even went as far as waiving U.S. laws that ban funding terrorists just to support their twisted agenda. So when you see rockets flying into Israel and innocent lives being destroyed, remember that it’s the Biden administration’s funding and support that made it possible.
Senator Cruz did not mince words when he called out the House Democrats who supported this funding. He rightfully condemned them for sending money to Gaza that went straight into the hands of Hamas. Their reckless actions have led to the murder, kidnapping, and war crimes that we are witnessing today. It’s shameful and disgusting.
On top of all this, the Biden administration has consistently shown a lack of support for Israel. They have gone out of their way to undermine the nation and its sovereignty. From refusing to acknowledge the historic Abraham Accords to changing the name of the office handling Israel and Palestinian affairs, they have made it clear that they do not stand with Israel. Their policies align more with the anti-Israel views of the Squad than with our closest ally in the Middle East.
It’s time for the Biden administration to take responsibility for their disastrous actions. They cannot backtrack and deny their complicity in the attacks on Israel. The evidence is clear, and Senator Cruz has laid it all out. It’s time for Americans to wake up and hold this administration accountable for their betrayal of Israel and their dangerous appeasement of Iran. Israel deserves better, and so do the American people.
