MSNBC, the far-left news network, continues to shame itself with its biased coverage of Hamas and Israel. Recently, Anti-Defamation League Director Jonathan Greenblatt called out MSNBC for their slanted coverage, asking, “Who writes your scripts?” Well, on Tuesday, Israeli mom had a bone to pick with Andrea Mitchell, the host known for her biased questions. This brave mom, whose 12- and 16-year-old sons were abducted by Hamas terrorists, was not in the mood for sympathy towards the attackers. When Mitchell asked about Israeli airstrikes, the mom emphatically stated, “I can’t be sympathetic.” She went on to explain the difference between terrorist actions and the legitimate Israeli response, making it clear that she couldn’t support those who had brought harm to her family.
It’s despicable that Mitchell, representing the left-leaning MSNBC, would try to get this mother to show sympathy for the attackers. The attacks carried out by Hamas have been nothing short of savage, with babies murdered and hundreds slaughtered at a music festival. The network has drawn heavy criticism for its ridiculous takes on the situation, with some accusing them of victim-blaming. For example, MSNBC host Ali Velshi accused politicians who spoke out against the atrocities committed against Israeli citizens of lacking “nuance,” and Ayman Mohyeldin blamed the carnage on “failed policies.” It’s time for MSNBC to take responsibility for their biased coverage and start reporting the truth.
It’s disheartening to see the level of bias displayed by networks like MSNBC. They show little sympathy for the innocent victims of terrorist attacks and instead try to portray the attackers in a sympathetic light. It’s important that we hold these networks accountable and demand fair and unbiased reporting. The world needs to know the truth about Hamas and the savage attacks they have carried out against Israel.
