Biden-Harris Policies Empower Iran’s Assault on Israel and Fuel Terror

The Biden-Harris administration is taking a victory lap after funneling billions to Iran, but instead of peaceful negotiations, they might as well have handed out sabers to Tehran for their latest missile barrage. Last Tuesday, Iran decided to put their new funds to work with an astonishing rocket assault against Israel, while on the ground, radicals fired at civilians in Jaffa, resulting in multiple casualties. All this came after a strategy of appeasement that has led many to scratch their heads about what the White House was thinking.

In a twist of irony, just as gas prices were rising again, so too was the threat level from Iran. Like that infamous sticker of Biden at the pump with “I did that” above inflated prices, one could suggest Biden and Harris might get credit for the chaos developed in the Middle East, where their strategies have only served to empower terrorist factions. The grand plan cooked up in Washington wasn’t a recipe for peace; it was more like a buffet for hostile regimes that thrive on violence and terror, feeding on American resources and goodwill while financially backing Hamas and Hezbollah.

As the election looms just weeks away, Americans are confronted with the unpalatable outcomes stemming from this administration’s soft approach to Iran. No one is arguing that under Donald Trump, the U.S. starved the Iranian regime financially while showcasing military might, demonstrated by the assassination of Iran’s top general and the dismissal of their deceptive nuclear plans. Now, with over $100 billion fed into the Iranian beast, those funds are being redirected to fuel a fiery agenda against Israel and allies around the globe.

It’s noteworthy that even members of the Democratic Party are growing skittish about being associated with the Biden-Harris strategy. A number of senators, finding themselves in tight races, have begun to distance themselves from the administration’s actions, especially after the horrors Hamas unleashed on October 7, 2023. That day became a dark mark in modern history, and Democrats suddenly seem less enthusiastic about financing a regime known for brutality.

Kamala Harris, who recently attempted to play the tough critic of Iran, bizarrely forgot to address her own administration’s past generosity towards them. Her declarations of Iran being a dangerous destabilizing force ring hollow, especially after Secretary of State Antony Blinken suggested that Israel should dial it down and consider a ceasefire. This merry-go-round of conflicting messages has created a chaotic Middle East policy making it seem like the White House is throwing darts blindfolded.

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has opted to ignore the administration’s pleas for restraint, embarking on significant military offensives against Hezbollah, it raises the question of whether the Biden-Harris approach is doomed to repeat itself. Israel has delivered a series of impactful blows against their enemies, while the U.S. stands by, seemingly too intimidated to support a full victory. The rabble-rousing that unshackled Hamas and Hezbollah with the Biden-Harris strategy has led to increased hostility, while the effective action taken by Israel inspires hope in a long-overdue counterattack against terror.

As it stands, Americans have to ponder whether it’s time to reassess support for an administration so eager to placate adversaries while crying out for restraint from allies. Perhaps the real question facing voters this election season is whether ongoing decades of inaction will yield the change needed to restore strength in the region or whether America is ready to back firm leadership instead. The choice couldn’t be clearer.
