Biden’s Approval Plummets – USA Misses Stability

President Joe Biden is sinking faster than a lead balloon, according to a Yahoo! News contributor named Andrew Romano. This guy claims that Biden’s approval numbers are on the verge of collapsing into a pile of absolute disaster. I mean, we all saw this coming, didn’t we?

Romano cites a poll aggregator on FiveThirtyEight, which supposedly reveals that Biden is now the “second-most-unpopular president in modern U.S. history.” Is anyone surprised? Only a measly 39.1% of people approve of how Biden is handling his job, while a whopping 55.4% disapprove. Ouch, that’s gotta sting.

But don’t worry, Biden, you’re not completely alone in your misery. Romano kindly reminds us that you still have President Jimmy Carter to keep you company at the bottom of the barrel. Carter had an abysmal approval rating of 29% at this point in his presidency. Looks like Biden is just a hair better, but it’s not saying much.

So, what’s causing Biden’s popularity to plummet? Well, apparently, it’s all about the economy, stupid. New York Magazine columnist Eric Levitz believes that Americans are fed up with inflation. It seems they had been enjoying stable prices for decades, and now they can’t handle seeing their grocery bills go up. Don’t they know that inflation is just a figment of their imagination? Or better yet, they should blame the government for mismanaging everything.

In case you didn’t already know, inflation has hit the center store. What’s the center store, you ask? It’s where all the non-perishable staples are, like cereal and paper towels. National Review contributor Noah Rothman warns us that the cost of these items has gone up by double digits in just a matter of months. But hey, who needs cereal and paper towels anyway? We can just rely on our own boundless resourcefulness to stretch our dollars to the max. Thanks, Biden, for making us all feel like financial geniuses.

Overall, it seems pretty clear that Americans are getting tired of watching Biden’s low-energy leadership and the economic struggles that have come along with it. Can’t say we blame them. It’s time for Biden to face the music and accept responsibility for the mess he’s created. Maybe then, just maybe, we can start getting back on track. But hey, I won’t hold my breath.
