In the ongoing battle between Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Biden Administration, Governor Abbott recently announced on Twitter that illegal aliens in Texas will continue to be transported to sanctuary cities of their choosing. Bravo, Governor Abbott! It’s about time someone stood up to this administration’s failure to address the immigration crisis.

Meanwhile, journalist Bill Megulin released a video showing illegal aliens, not just from Latin America but also from countries like China, Turkey, and India, being smuggled and dropped off by criminals north of the border in California. It’s alarming to see the diversity of individuals illegally entering our country while President Biden sits idly by.
While President Biden claims he needs Congress to give him the authority to address the southern border crisis, this is simply a false narrative. The President already has the power to take action under Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. It states that the President can suspend the entry of any class of aliens that would be detrimental to the interests of the United States. So, there is no excuse for Biden’s lack of action.
Unfortunately, it seems that President Biden is either ignorant of his own authority or intentionally choosing to ignore it. Given his declining physical and mental state, it’s not surprising that he may not be fully aware of the powers granted to him. However, those working for him should know better, which leads us to conclude that this border crisis is a deliberate failure on the part of the administration.
The Biden Administration’s negligence is becoming increasingly apparent. When a border state governor like Abbott takes matters into his own hands and attempts to secure the border with state forces, only to face resistance from Washington every step of the way, it’s clear that something is amiss. There is no other explanation than to say this is a deliberate strategy by the Biden Administration to keep the borders open and allow unchecked immigration.
We must question the intentions of an administration that advocates for unrestricted, unscreened, and unmonitored immigration. Their refusal to act in the face of a clear crisis shows a complete disregard for the safety and security of the American people.
As an Alaskan, the immediate impact of this immigration crisis may not be felt as strongly as in other states. However, I am deeply concerned for the well-being of my country. Our borders are being invaded, and President Biden is either unwilling or incapable of taking action. We have no idea who these individuals are, where they are heading, or what their intentions are. The federal government’s criminal negligence will inevitably lead to disastrous consequences.
It’s time for the Biden Administration to step up and fulfill its duty to protect the American people. Our country deserves better than this reckless disregard for our national security. President Biden needs to use the authority he already possesses under the law and take immediate action to secure our borders and protect our citizens. The future of our nation depends on it.
