The Biden White House recently found themselves in yet another embarrassing predicament. During an interview with the Weather Channel, President Joe Biden falsely claimed that he had already declared a national emergency on the climate. But oh boy, was he caught in a web of his own lies! When pressed on the matter again, Biden had to backtrack and admit that he hadn’t actually done it. It’s like watching a kid get caught with their hand in the cookie jar and then trying to convince everyone that they were just checking for crumbs.
Naturally, the press jumped on this like a cat on a mouse, seeking answers from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. But surprise, surprise, she did what all good press secretaries do – she deflected and dodged the question. Instead of addressing why Biden had made such a false claim, Jean-Pierre rambled on about how “ambitious” they are when it comes to climate change. Ambitious? More like deceptive and clueless.
The truth of the matter is that Biden’s administration has not formally declared a national emergency on climate change, despite him coming quite close to doing so last year. It’s another case of Biden talking a big game but failing to deliver. And if the climate crisis is truly as urgent as they claim it to be, shouldn’t declaring a national emergency be a top priority? But hey, who needs action when you can have empty words and false promises, right?
But that’s not all folks! Biden decided to gift us with another gaffe this week, just to keep things interesting. During a speech at the Grand Canyon, the President declared it as one of the “nine” wonders of the world. Oh Joe, you never cease to amaze us with your lack of basic knowledge. Later on, he corrected himself and admitted that he misspoke – it’s actually one of the seven wonders of the world. Well, at least he got closer this time. Maybe next week he’ll finally get it right and we can all breathe a sigh of relief.
It’s truly mind-boggling how someone can be so consistently wrong and yet hold the highest office in the land. Biden’s false claims and constant slip-ups are becoming a trademark of his presidency. And it’s not a very good one. It’s like having a pilot who doesn’t know how to fly a plane or a chef who can’t boil water. We need someone who can lead with competence and integrity, not someone who stumbles through every speech and interview like a toddler learning to walk.
