In the wild world of Colorado politics, the conservative firebrand Rep. Lauren Boebert is leading the charge against Secretary of State Jena Griswold, who tried to pull a fast one on President Donald J. Trump. Griswold’s sneaky attempt to yank Trump off the primary ballot got smacked down hard by the Supreme Court, and now Boebert is waving the recall flag in front of Griswold’s face.

Boebert and her Republican pals are furious, accusing Griswold of trying to cheat millions of Coloradans out of their right to vote. They’re not mincing words – calling Griswold’s stunt a stain on the Republic and a total embarrassment. Ouch, that’s gotta leave a mark!
Frankly, Griswold’s behavior reeks of pure partisanship. It’s like watching a cat try to play fetch – it’s just not gonna happen! The Secretary of State’s job is to be fair and square when it comes to elections, but Griswold seems to have missed that memo. She got all huffy on MSNBC, saying she’s disappointed with the Supreme Court decision. Well, lady, maybe next time don’t try to play judge, jury, and executioner with someone’s candidacy!
Griswold’s shady move to label Trump as an “oath-breaking insurrectionist” without a shred of evidence is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Last time we checked, innocent until proven guilty was still a thing in this country! The Secretary of State should brush up on the Constitution before she starts playing fast and loose with folks’ rights.
At the end of the day, a recall effort may be a long shot, but it’s a shot worth taking. Griswold has shown her true colors – and they’re not very red, white, and blue. Colorado voters deserve better than a Secretary of State who plays fast and loose with the rules. It’s time for Griswold to pack her bags and hit the dusty trail – the good folks of Colorado deserve an honest broker, not a partisan hack.
