Late Show host Stephen Colbert's egregious tirade against former President Donald Trump provided yet another illustrative instance of the left-wing media's ceaseless effort to impose their liberal agenda on unsuspecting late-night viewers. Colbert, along with individuals of his caliber, utilized his platform to spew hatred and contempt for the former president, thereby transforming a once-respected comedy program into a breeding ground for liberal propaganda.

Colbert derisively mocked Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis, who had recently provided testimony concerning her adultery with an attorney implicated in the election case against Donald Trump, during his monologue. Colbert indifferently cast doubt on the veracity of the affair and jokingly remarked, "How effective was this sexual activity? Sufficient to place democracy at risk for? Do you know what truly feels good? Donald Trump will be incarcerated. "That, my friends, is the definition of an authentic happy ending."
Colbert, not satisfied with disparaging public officials, proceeded to deride the gravity of the legal proceedings, trivializing the pivotal trial associated with the 2020 election. By manifesting an extreme lack of regard for formality, Colbert's abhorrent action exposed his conspicuous disregard for the fundamental values of objectivity and equity.
Brent Baker, vice president of research and publications at the Media Research Center, succinctly described the abhorrent behavior of Colbert and his kind: "Colbert's program, which was once a sanctuary for comedic relief from serious politics, has become a platform for him to promote left-wing propaganda and his antipathy toward Trump and conservatives under the guise of humor. "It is not humorous, and a legendary figure such as Johnny Carson, whose lighthearted political jokes criticized both sides, is rejoicing in his afterlife."
This blatant slam against the former president and conservative values has no place in the late-night entertainment industry, which was once frivolous and entertaining. It is time for these liberal entertainers to be held accountable for their egregious misuse of their platforms to masquerade as comedians while spewing their biased political views. Colbert and his colleagues have an obligation to demonstrate a minimum level of integrity and reverence in their programming towards their audience.
