House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) has finally put his foot down and issued subpoenas to Hunter Biden and James Biden, 315 days after launching an investigation into the Biden family. It’s about time! Comer is determined to uncover the personal and business bank records of the Biden brothers, hoping to expose Joe Biden’s connection to their shady foreign deals.
During the impeachment inquiry hearing into Joe Biden, Comer seized the opportunity to announce the subpoenas, stating that the evidence uncovered by the committee justifies further investigation into Joe Biden’s role and his family’s international business games. And boy, are there plenty of games to investigate!
The committee had been patiently waiting to subpoena the Bidens since November 2022, but Comer wanted to show good faith before taking aggressive action. But now that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has launched an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, the gloves are off. Legal tools are in place to legally compel the Bidens to cooperate, and Comer is ready to get the answers the American people deserve.
And it seems the American people are ready for some answers too. Recent polling shows that a majority of voters believe Joe Biden was involved in his family’s business deals with China and Ukraine, contradicting his denials. It’s about time that the truth comes out and Joe Biden is held accountable for his actions.
Throughout the investigation, House Republicans have revealed significant evidence that points to Joe Biden’s involvement in the family business. From photos to texts to bank records to audio recordings, the evidence is mounting against him. And let’s not forget about the alleged bribes and whistleblower testimonies. The memo released by Comer’s Oversight Committee lays out the evidence clearly: Joe Biden is knee-deep in his family’s influence peddling schemes.
The latest allegations are particularly damning. Court documents show that Joe Biden’s address received two wires totaling $260,000 from Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partners. But here’s the kicker: Hunter Biden wasn’t even living with Joe Biden in Delaware at the time. Something fishy is definitely going on here. And let’s not overlook the evidence from IRS whistleblowers who revealed that Hunter Biden referred to selling access to Joe Biden as “the keys” to “my family’s only asset.”
There’s no doubt that the Bidens have a lot to answer for, and Comer is determined to get to the bottom of it. It’s time for the truth to come out, and for Joe Biden to be held accountable for his actions. The American people deserve nothing less.
