Joe Biden has been given a little breathing room after the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, but it seems the Democrats are not wasting any time trying to push him out of the 2024 race.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had a one-on-one talk with Biden, urging him to step aside, while Rep. Adam Schiff also went on record saying Biden should quit. Some Democrats are losing faith in their chosen leader.
In a recent conversation, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi privately informed Biden that polling data shows he can’t defeat Trump and that his continued pursuit of a second term could jeopardize the Democrats’ chances of winning the House in November. Pelosi doesn’t mince words – she pulls no punches. She starts with the question: ‘What does it take to win?’ Then, it works backward. She knows Biden’s time is up.

Despite the warnings, it seems Biden is rejecting what they’re telling him and refusing to step aside, at least for now. Perhaps events haven’t reached the tipping point where Biden would decide to walk away. Or maybe he’s relying on the support of his wife, Jill, who remains by his side.
So, what’s the Democrats’ next move? The leaks to the media and the threats of a public rebuke might force Biden to reconsider, but they also risk pushing him further away. It seems the Democrats are resorting to all kinds of tactics in their desperation to get rid of a president they know is incapable of leading.
This process will likely disturb Democrats who believe in the power of the voters. They might feel that their party is going around them and making decisions behind closed doors, which is not the democratic way.
But let’s be clear here – the Democrats are solely responsible for this mess. They backed an incoherent man who was not fit for the job. They deserve to lose, no matter who ends up as the party’s nominee. This whole charade has revealed their true colors; every American should be disgusted by their actions.
It’s time for the Democrats to take responsibility for the chaos and confusion they’ve created. The voters deserve better, and it’s up to us to ensure they never forget the deceit and manipulation that has taken place in this process.
