In Biden’s America, things are far from normal. Democrats have taken a radical shift on almost every issue, and it’s hard to remember what it feels like to have a sense of agreement. One area where this is abundantly clear is in our elections, an important tradition that should be safe and secure.

Back in 2000, when the presidential election ended in confusion and legal battles, both sides recognized the need for election reform. In a moment of good faith, the Carter-Baker Commission put forward bipartisan recommendations for common-sense reforms such as clean voter rolls, accurate registration, and secure absentee ballots.
Fast forward to today, and Democrats have completely abandoned these principles. Their idea of “voter suppression” is anything that doesn’t align with their new goals. They want to lower age and citizenship requirements, flood the country with mail-in and absentee ballots with little verification, and make voting as easy as possible. They have completely disregarded the importance of election integrity.
The media tries to downplay this by claiming there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. But the real question we should be asking is whether we can have confidence in our elections. And the answer is a resounding no. Democrats have turned their back on the principles they once supported, and it’s clear they will do anything to make it easier to cheat.
It’s hard to trust a party that openly admits to cheating and attacks anyone who opposes their efforts. The true threat to democracy is not the Republicans, but the Democrats who undermine the safety and security of our elections. Their actions over the past two decades have shown their true colors, and it’s up to us to hold them accountable.
