The Daily Wire has exposed yet another example of extremist, pro-Hamas sentiments within the Biden administration. This time, it’s Nejwa Ali, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) staffer, who has been caught red-handed with her outrageous social media posts. Pictures of Hamas terrorists parachuting into Israel with guns in hand? Really, Ms. Ali? Is that how you envision freedom for the Palestinian people?
Not surprisingly, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has rightly called out Ali’s indefensible statements and labeled her an anti-Semitic radical. It’s truly concerning that someone with such extreme views was given a position within the DHS. We need people who prioritize the safety and security of the American people, not individuals who support terrorists attacking our allies.
Ali’s posts on Instagram and LinkedIn reveal her deep-rooted hatred for Israel and its people. She has used expletive-laden language to express her disdain, even going as far as saying, “F*** Israel and any Jew who supports Israel.” Her vile rhetoric is nothing short of alarming, and it raises serious questions about her ability to fairly and impartially carry out her duties at the DHS.
It’s worth noting that Ali previously worked for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) before being hired by the DHS. The fact that she lost her position at the PLO, which was expelled from the country by the Trump administration, raises additional concerns about her background and loyalties. Did the DHS thoroughly vet her before hiring her? It’s a question that needs to be answered.
When questioned about her past and her views, Ali responded with an unrepentant and aggressive attitude. She refused to admit whether she was honest with the DHS about her previous work for the PLO and told a reporter to “mind their own business.” This lack of transparency and accountability is deeply troubling and only adds to the growing list of reasons why Ali is unfit for her position.

In the midst of this controversy, President Joe Biden traveled to Israel to reaffirm the United States’ support for our key Middle Eastern ally. While his press conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was lackluster, it was an opportunity for him to address the anti-Israel sentiment within his own party. Individuals like Ali, along with elected Democratic lawmakers who call for Israel to “de-escalate” after being attacked by Hamas, are deeply misguided and pose a threat to our national security.
It’s clear that action must be taken regarding Nejwa Ali’s employment at the DHS. USCIS, the division she now works for, has condemned anti-Semitism and violent rhetoric, but does that mean they will actually do something about it? We need to hold our government agencies accountable, especially when it comes to national security. The American people deserve better than someone who supports an organization like Hamas, which is responsible for countless acts of terrorism.
In the end, it’s important to remember that the United States should always stand with our allies, especially when they are under attack. Hamas is a terrorist organization, plain and simple, and anyone who openly supports them should not be working in our government. Nejwa Ali’s radical views should disqualify her from her position, and it’s time for the DHS to take immediate action. The safety and security of our nation depend on it.
