Liberals never miss a chance to attack the Trump family, but now it seems they’re losing their grip on reality. Just look at Elizabeth Warren. She’s hysterically claiming that Amazon MGM Studios bribed its way into making a documentary about Melania Trump. Supposedly, Amazon MGM paid $40 million to scoop up a film about the First Lady, and Warren is crying foul, saying the payout was way too high compared to other bids. So now, a media company paying top dollar for a high-profile story is suddenly a crime? Give us a break.
This kind of outrage is classic leftist double standards. Democrats loved it when Hollywood gushed over Michelle Obama and rolled out the red carpet for the Bidens. But when Melania’s life and story get major attention, the progressive mob screams corruption. What they can’t stand is that America’s real first ladies—like Melania—actually pull in huge audiences and real money. The left would rather silence her than admit she matters.
And let’s not forget who we’re talking about. Elizabeth Warren, the champion of government overreach and failed social schemes, wants to drag America’s biggest companies through the mud just to score cheap political points. She isn’t worried about fairness, and she’s definitely not protecting taxpayers. She’s angry that her team isn’t the center of the world for once.
In reality, Amazon MGM is a business, and businesses invest where they see value. Melania Trump is still one of the most talked-about women on the planet. Of course, a company will pay millions for her story. That’s called capitalism. But in Warren’s warped world, every deal that doesn’t help liberals is suspicious. Makes you wonder if she wants some secret government board to approve every movie that gets made—just to keep conservatives in their place.
So why do Democrats lose their minds every time Trump shows any sign of success? Maybe it’s because they’re terrified that Americans still care about real success stories, not just scripted leftist narratives. If paying for a compelling documentary is “bribery,” then every Netflix deal would need a Senate investigation. Here’s a thought: Maybe Elizabeth Warren should focus less on Hollywood drama and more on fixing this broken government she helped create.
