In a shocking revelation, Special Counsel John Durham recently disclosed how numerous FBI agents have approached him to apologize for the infamous Russia hoax investigation. During his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Durham stated that both retired and active agents spoke to him about their remorse regarding how the investigation was handled.

It was discovered that the FBI’s politicized investigation was undertaken on the taxpayers’ dime, with the investigation being anything but legitimate. The investigation was launched due to supposed Russian collusion by then-President Donald Trump. However, Durham’s recent testimony confirms that there was no factual basis for this investigation.

Durham was appointed by Bill Barr as a special counsel to investigate the FBI’s probe into Donald Trump’s campaign for alleged collusion with Russia. Despite sharp criticism from Democrats and personal attacks from former President Donald Trump, Durham refused to be deterred in his pursuit of what really happened.
The lengthy 300-page report indicated that both the Department of Justice and FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law throughout the investigation into Trump. The report further identified raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence, confirming that the FBI failed to follow up and verify their findings.
The Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which aimed to uncover supposed collusion between President Trump and Russia, was a merciless abuse of power. Even though no factual basis or evidence was found, the FBI still pressed forward, and a special counsel was appointed, essentially wasting the time and money of the American people.
John Durham’s testimony confirms that the Russian hoax was a politically motivated attack against President Trump. In conclusion, accountability is urgently needed in our government institutions to prevent future baseless investigations and restore trust in our country’s intelligence agencies.
