It looks like Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is in a bit of hot water. Judge Scott McAfee decided not to disqualify Willis from leading the case against the one and only Donald J. Trump, but with a catch – her romantic partner and subordinate, Nathan Wade, had to hit the road.

Now, you know what they say about mixing business with pleasure. Willis and her team have found themselves in some serious hot water, and not the kind you make a good cup of tea with. The judge mentioned some “significant appearance of impropriety” and a “tremendous lack in judgment” on Willis’ part.
CNN, of all places, couldn’t help but mention Willis survived this round. Survived? More like barely clung on for dear life.
There are accusations of untruthfulness swirling around like a tornado. An “odor of mendacity,” they say. Never a good sign. Willis might want to invest in some air freshener to clear that smell.
Willis can still trudge forward with the case against Trump as long as she treads lightly. And with an opponent on the horizon for her upcoming election, it looks like the road ahead is nothing short of rocky.
