Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is calling on House Republican leaders to expand their focus on President Joe Biden to include suspected Democratic corruption, specifically targeting the Clinton Foundation. In a memo to the party, Gingrich argues that the multitude of potential scandals currently facing Washington is a crisis comparable to the Civil War, and therefore demands a comprehensive approach.

Gingrich, a prominent Republican figure and historian, asserts that the personal corruption of the Biden family is just one aspect of a broader culture of law-breaking and corruption within various government agencies. He points to the intelligence community, the Justice Department, the Internal Revenue Service, and other federal bodies as examples of institutions that have prioritized their own political ideology over the rule of law.
In addition to the ongoing impeachment hearings and investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged misconduct, Gingrich emphasizes the need to thoroughly examine the Clinton Foundation. He argues that the scale of corruption exhibited by Hillary Clinton during her tenure as Secretary of State, as well as the substantial sums of money collected by the Clinton Foundation, surpasses anything the Bidens are accused of.
Gingrich also calls for a deeper investigation into the alleged weaponization of federal agencies against government critics and Democrats. He believes that House Republicans must commit themselves to uncovering the truth and sharing it with the American people, regardless of the consequences it may have for those in positions of power.
