In a fiery exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) has accused the Biden administration of a deliberate “war on the Second Amendment.” According to Hudson, the administration’s recent decision to change AR-pistol stabilizer bracing laws is just the beginning of a wider plan toward widespread regulatory gun control. As proof of this claim, Hudson pointed to Biden’s recent budget request, which has allotted a whopping $1.9 billion to support the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Hudson believes that this money will pave the way for the ATF to enact further stringent gun laws, circumventing Congress.

Hudson did not hold back in his scathing critique of the ATF, claiming that they are “perfectly aligned with this administration and they are enemies to the Second Amendment.” Hudson went on to say that the Republican-led House must lead the charge against these attacks and protect Americans’ right to bear arms. He even hinted at using hardball tactics, threatening to use the Congressional Review Act to force the Democrats to make a choice between voting for liberal tyranny or freedom.

Hudson’s outrage was not just limited to the ATF, he also had strong words against their pistol brace rule, which defies “common sense.” He passionately spoke about how the rule specifically targets combat-disabled veterans, claiming that their own website acknowledges that the point of a pistol brace is to give them stability. Hudson’s sympathies clearly lie with those who have served America, and he insists that Republican efforts to combat this misguided rule would become a major campaign issue.
All in all, Hudson’s fervor and passion reveal the extent to which the conservative party is willing to go to stand by the Second Amendment. The battle lines have been drawn, and it is up to the people to decide if they want to vote for freedom or concede to Biden’s tyranny.
