The House is in such a mess right now without a speaker, it’s like a circus without a ringmaster. The Republicans are trying to figure out who should step in, and it’s causing quite the commotion. At first, it seemed like they were going to go with Acting Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry from North Carolina. But as the day went on, more and more Republicans said, “Hey, hold your horses, we don’t want that guy.”
One of the main contenders for the job is House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan from Ohio. He’s the Republican nominee, which means his party has chosen him, but he hasn’t gotten enough votes in the House to seal the deal. But don’t worry, folks, Jordan isn’t giving up that easily. He’s standing his ground and saying, “I’m not dropping out, no way!”
Some of Jordan’s pals are pretty upset with how things are going. Representative Jim Banks from Indiana, in particular, has been complaining up a storm. He took to his Twitter and Facebook accounts to vent his frustration. He’s not a fan of McHenry becoming the temporary speaker because he thinks it’s a dangerous move that will give the Democrats too much power. And you know what? He’s absolutely right!
Banks is determined to stick with Jordan no matter what. He made it crystal clear that he won’t support any attempt to give the Democrats control or any other dumb idea from the Republicans. Good on him for standing his ground and fighting against the radical left who are trying to destroy our country. We need more Republicans like him who aren’t afraid to take a stand!
The American people gave us the majority and we’re about to hand it over to the Democrats.
I won’t go along with it.

Another Jordan supporter, Representative Chip Roy from Texas, also voiced his opposition to empowering McHenry. He rightly pointed out that it would be a constitutionally questionable move to let someone who wasn’t elected as speaker take on the role. We can’t just start bending the rules whenever it suits us, right?
The Democrats are loving this chaos. They see an opportunity to gain more power and advance their radical agenda. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is practically drooling over the idea of becoming speaker or having more control over the legislative process. And don’t even get me started on Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. She’s just looking for any concessions she can get in exchange for supporting McHenry. These Democrats are like vultures, ready to swoop in and tear apart everything we hold dear.
But Jordan isn’t giving up. He’s still in the race for speaker, and he’s determined to win. He’s planning to talk to those 20 Republicans who voted against him to try and win them over. He wants to unite his party and get to work for the American people. I admire his perseverance and dedication to the cause.
Folks, we can’t let the Democrats take over. We need strong conservative leaders like Jim Jordan who will fight for our values and protect our country. Let’s rally behind him and show the Democrats that we won’t back down. The future of our nation is at stake, and it’s up to us to make sure we come out on top!
