In an unsurprising display of political bias and urgency, a judge in Georgia is wasting no time in prosecuting former President Donald Trump on charges related to the alleged conspiracy to overturn the state’s 2020 election results. According to court documents filed on Monday, Trump and his former attorney Rudy Giuliani are set to be arraigned on September 6th in Atlanta. Trump must appear in court at 9:30 AM EST to face the 13 felony counts he is charged with, while Giuliani will make his appearance at 9:45 AM. Not only are Trump and Giuliani facing charges, but also former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and 16 others who have been indicted for allegedly pressuring Governor Brian Kemp and state election officials to certify alternate electors.
