The Biden campaign, which is now dabbling in a little Twitter deception through the Kamala HQ account, is in the hot seat for spreading disinformation about Donald Trump. Recently, they went through the extraordinary effort of taking Trump’s comments about women entirely out of context, not to mention the ludicrous spin they put on President Biden’s infamous remarks labeling Trump supporters as “garbage.” Yet despite the blatant dishonesty, it seems Community Notes is conveniently silent when it comes to the Kamala operation’s antics.
An investigative report from The Federalist has shined a light on how the Harris-Walz campaign is apparently tapping into a Discord server to orchestrate a symphony of misinformation. The servers are reportedly stuffed with volunteers ready to pounce on Community Notes—only, they’re not sharing puppy videos; they’re manipulating the narrative to undermine the Trump campaign. Instead of having a healthy discussion, they’ve turned X into their personal playground of propaganda.

The Kamala HQ recently shared a video insinuating that Trump has been on a crusade to take rights away from women, a claim that reeks of desperation and distortion. And as the drama unfolds, social media chieftains like Elon Musk are also eyeing this ongoing charade. The irony is rich: a campaign that claims to champion truth and hope is employing classic tactics of deceit to sway public opinion and silence criticism. No surprise, the Harris-Walz social media team has been so successful at misrepresenting the facts that even left-leaning fact-checker Daniel Dale couldn’t ignore the avalanche of inaccuracies pouring out of their accounts. Rather than facing accountability, however, some dedicated Democrats on Discord have taken it upon themselves to ensure that those Community Notes that call out the lies are swiftly voted down, as if just shouting louder is akin to winning a debate.
In the depths of the Harris-Walz Discord server, paid staffers have cooked up their own dubious Community Notes. They’re not simply shooting down the truth; they’re writing their own narratives that support the faltering Democratic agenda, rife with misleading claims—like bemoaning how Joe Biden’s son’s health issues somehow reflect positively on the family’s military service. This absurdity is layered upon their so-called “Twitter Community Notes Training” module, illustrating how user ratings can be artificially inflated. The audacity is astounding!
While this attempt at manipulating Community Notes may lack finesse, it’s certainly a gross violation of terms set by X. The chaotic attempt to manipulate the system is amusing, given the conservative architecture of the Community Notes upvoting function. For now, it’s clear that the Kamala campaign’s efforts have backfired, highlighting the desperation of a group that still believes spinning the truth will yield favorable results amidst a changing political landscape. With the election looming and Trump gaining momentum, the Harris-Walz team is scrambling like headless chickens trying to salvage their narrative, and it doesn’t look promising.
