The liberal loony judges strike again! An appellate court in New York has shot down Donald Trump’s attempt to stop the judgment in his civil fraud case, leaving him scrambling to cover a hefty $454 million. In a surprising twist, the judge did throw Trump a bone by allowing him to seek a loan from a New York bank to cover the massive amount. But really, who wants to be in debt to a bunch of big city bankers who probably don’t even know the value of a hard day’s work on a farm?
Trump’s legal team had geared up to put forth a $100 million bond, insisting that was the most he could manage without offloading some of his real estate holdings. But the ruling has left them reeling as they face the prospect of having to sell off properties to foot the bill. How’s that for justice?
And that’s not all! The court’s decision also lifts sanctions against Trump and his co-defendants, allowing them to take up top roles in any New York business for the time being. It’s a tiny win, but who would’ve thought that these liberal judges would even throw Trump a crumb of truth?
But fear not, Trump supporters! This ruling is only temporary as Trump fights tooth and nail to put a pause on forking over the full amount. And let’s not forget the big picture here: Trump is also staring down an $83.3 million judgment in another case, piling on the pressure for him to cough up the dough.
With the clock ticking, Trump has until around March 25 to dig up the cash and post the bond. But hold on to your hats! That’s when his criminal trial is set to kick off, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Trump will come out swinging, standing tall and proud against these baseless charges.
