CNN has announced that they will be hosting a town hall with former Vice President Mike Pence on June 7th. This could potentially be a massive opportunity for the former vice president, as he gains exposure and recognition for a possible presidential bid. Moderated by Dana Bash, this event will take place in Des Moines, Iowa, and is sure to be a must-watch event for all Republicans and Iowa voters. The event is scheduled to air on CNN at 9 p.m.

During the town hall, Pence will be taking questions, and it will give him a chance to interact with voters and showcase his leadership and critical thinking abilities. The former vice president has not officially announced his candidacy, but in a previous interview with NBC, he stated that he would make his announcement before June ends.

Despite his third-place standing in the polls, Pence’s popularity may be on the rise. Polling at an average of 4.7%, Pence trails former President Donald Trump and current Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Still, given his sturdy foundation in conservatism and Republican values, he may quickly be catching up to them in terms of support.
This presidential town hall marks the third event of its kind to be hosted by CNN. Kaitlan Collins moderated a town hall with Trump on May 10th, and Jake Tapper is scheduled to interview former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley on June 4th.
At his town hall, Trump faced considerable heat and controversy. He was questioned about his role in the violence that occurred on Jan. 6th, as well as his civil suit, the debt ceiling, abortion, the economy, the southern border, Ukraine, and classified documents. He even got into a heated back-and-forth with Collins, which led to him calling her a “nasty person.”
Conservative viewers should look forward to this upcoming town hall and expect to see conservative values, fiscal responsibility, and strong leadership on display. Pence has shown himself to be a capable and talented politician, and there is no doubt that he will be able to sway the hearts and minds of voters with his bold vision for a strong America.
