In a recent press conference, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his concern over the civilian deaths in Gaza due to the ongoing military operation by the Israel Defense Force (IDF). Trudeau called for Israel to exercise restraint and put an end to the killing of innocent women, children, and babies. He emphasized that the world is watching and urged Israel to consider the impact of their actions.

Well, well, well, looks like Trudeau just couldn’t resist sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Leave it to the Canadian prime minister to lecture Israel on how to handle terrorists. Maybe he should focus on his own country’s security issues instead of giving unsolicited advice to one of America’s closest allies.
But Bibi Netanyahu was not going to let Trudeau’s comments go unanswered. Taking to social media, the Israeli Prime Minister refuted Trudeau’s claims and put the blame squarely on Hamas. He pointed out that it is Hamas, not Israel, that deliberately targets civilians and uses them as human shields. Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s efforts to protect civilians by providing humanitarian corridors and safe zones, while Hamas does everything in its power to keep them in harm’s way. Bravo, Bibi, for setting the record straight!
Let’s not forget why Israel is in Gaza in the first place. It was in response to an unprecedented terror attack by Hamas, which resulted in the deaths of over a thousand people and the taking of hundreds of hostages. This is not a situation where Israel is going on the offensive for no reason. They are taking necessary action to defend their citizens from a terrorist organization that seeks their destruction.
And speaking of Hamas’s despicable tactics, it seems they have sunk to a new low by using Gaza’s largest hospital, Al-Shifa, as a base for their military operations and even holding hostages there. The White House has confirmed this and stated that it constitutes a war crime. Yet, we hear nothing from Trudeau about Hamas’s war crimes. It’s always Israel that is the target of his criticism.
It’s time for Trudeau to take a step back and reevaluate his misguided stance on Israel. Instead of playing armchair diplomat, he should focus on the pressing issues in his own country. Israel has the right to defend itself and its citizens from terrorists, and no amount of virtue signaling from Trudeau will change that fact.
