Press Sec Flees Briefing as Biden Family Cash Ties Erupt

During Monday’s White House briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced a barrage of tough questions about the financial ties between Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. The briefing quickly turned into a showdown when Jean-Pierre dodged the questions and abruptly ended the session, leaving reporters scratching their heads.

One reporter grilled Jean-Pierre on the direct payments from Hunter Biden’s business, Owasco P.C., to the President. “Did the President accept payment? And why would there be such an arrangement if they were never in business together or if there was a ‘wall of separation,’ as the President has previously claimed?” the reporter demanded. But Jean-Pierre ducked the question, claiming she hadn’t seen the report and shoving the issue off to the White House Counsel’s Office before hurrying out of the room.

The questions stem from documents released by the House Oversight Committee, led by Representative James Comer (R-KY), which show direct payments from Hunter Biden’s company to President Joe Biden, contradicting the administration’s denial of any business connections. Jean-Pierre’s weak response did little to calm the growing concerns over the Biden family’s financial entanglements and the potential conflicts of interest they raise.

Rep. Comer has been a vocal advocate for transparency and accountability in the Biden family’s financial dealings, accusing Joe Biden of misleading the public about the separation between his official duties and his family’s business ventures. The latest revelations only add fuel to the fire.

The House Oversight Committee’s investigation has revealed that the payments were not just personal transactions from Hunter Biden but were funneled through a corporate entity with ties to sources including China. This is particularly troubling in light of the Justice Department’s ongoing probe into Hunter Biden for alleged tax evasion and other serious offenses, with Owasco P.C. allegedly serving as a conduit for these activities.

The committee’s investigation, buoyed by whistleblower testimony and a federal judge’s rejection of a proposed plea deal, has intensified its focus on Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s domestic and international business activities. The rejection of the plea deal hinted at a possible cover-up attempt by the Justice Department to shield the Bidens from scrutiny.

Rep. Comer underscored the gravity of the situation, pointing out that as Vice President, Joe Biden had hobnobbed with his son’s foreign business associates and allowed Hunter to take advantage of his position by riding Air Force Two to boost the “Biden Brand” worldwide.

The evidence of direct payments to Joe Biden from Hunter’s business entity, particularly given its ties to foreign entities like China, represents a significant breakthrough in the ongoing scrutiny of the Biden family’s financial dealings. And with Jean-Pierre’s hasty exit from the press briefing, the questions surrounding this issue have only multiplied.
