In a recent demand that’s got the political world buzzing, Donald Trump’s team is pushing for more debates against President Joe Biden in the upcoming election. They argue that with more people voting earlier these days, the scheduled debate dates proposed by the Commission on Presidential Debates won’t cut it.
Debate schedule: Trump team points to early voting as reason to bump up faceoffs with Biden – Washington Examiner—-Biden vs Trump in debate? Biden will do anything to avoid debate. He can hardly finish a sentence or find his way around!!! https://t.co/VJR0f3J065

Trump’s co-campaign managers, Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, fired off a letter to the Commission, insisting that the proposed debate dates are just too late because by then, millions of Americans will have already voted. They griped that in the last election, folks were “robbed” of a real solid debate by waiting too long to have them.
The Trump campaign also made the case for more debates and for them to start ASAP. They pointed out a 1858 battle between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas, saying if those guys could pull off seven debates, then today’s America sure deserves as much.
Trump himself hopped on the bandwagon, slamming the sorry state of the country and calling for more debates pronto. Meanwhile, Biden’s been pretty coy about the whole thing, not committing to any debates just yet. But he did admit that if he were Trump, he’d want to debate too, saying “He’s got nothing else to do.”
So, Trump and his crew are making some noise, pushing for more punch-ups on the debate stage. Will it happen? Who knows. But one thing’s for sure: it’s gonna be one heck of a show!
